Terms of Service

Last updated · 16 June 2026 Effective · 16 June 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Seeded mobile app (the “App”), our website at seededhabits.com (the “Site”), and any related services (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully. They form a binding agreement between you and us.

The Services are provided by Seeded LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (“Seeded”, “we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at hello@seededhabits.com.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, in which case “you” refers to that organisation.

2. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Seeded. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to create an account.

If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use Seeded only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. Some countries set a higher minimum age of digital consent; if you live in one of those countries and are under that age, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of Seeded. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. The Service and changes to it

Seeded is a calm, private habit-tracking app available for iPhone and Android. It helps you create habits, mark completions, keep gentle streaks, build routines with habit stacking, write journal entries, attach photos and videos, and see warm progress insights. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription (see Section 5).

We are continually improving the Services, so we may add, change, or remove features over time. Where a change is significant and within our control, we will give you reasonable notice in the App or by email. We may also, where reasonable, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, but if we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, your statutory rights and the refund position described in Section 5 still apply.

The Services depend on your device, your internet connection, and third-party platforms (see Section 10). We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

4. Accounts and sign-in

To use the App you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Apple or Google handles your credentials; we never see your Apple or Google password. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID or Google Account secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us at hello@seededhabits.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used in breach of these Terms (see Section 11).

You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us. Deletion of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellations

Seeded is free to use for up to 3 habits. Seeded Pro unlocks unlimited habits, Habit Stacks, Insights, and Learning. Pro is offered as:

  • Monthly: £2.99 per month.
  • Yearly: £29.99 per year.

New subscribers are offered a 14-day free trial. The prices above are our United Kingdom prices in pounds sterling (GBP). Seeded is also available in other countries, where prices are set in the local currency and may differ. Prices are always shown in the App before you purchase, and the price displayed at the point of purchase is the price that applies.

Free trials and introductory offers are subject to eligibility rules set by Apple, Google, or us. They may be available only once per user, Apple ID, Google Account, device, or payment method.

If you are under 18, you must have the permission of your parent, guardian, or whoever pays the bill before you buy Seeded Pro or set up a subscription.

5.1 Billing is handled by Apple or Google

Seeded Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store (or, on Android, Google Play), and our subscription tooling is provided by RevenueCat. We do not see, store, or process your payment card or bank details. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple or Google charges your account for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price for your plan. If you do not cancel a free trial before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription.

5.2 Managing, cancelling, and refunds

You can manage or cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, at any time through your Apple ID Subscriptions settings (or your Google Play subscriptions on Android) on your device. The App also provides a Manage Subscription shortcut. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access to Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google respectively, in accordance with their terms and your statutory rights. Because Apple or Google is the merchant of record for these purchases, we generally cannot issue refunds directly; you can request one from Apple or Google. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Deleting your Seeded account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel separately through your Apple ID or Google Play settings to stop being billed.

6. Acceptable use

Seeded is meant to be a calm, personal space. When using the Services, you agree not to:

  • Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Upload or store content that is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to store.
  • Upload or store content that is exploitative, abusive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Attempt to access another person’s account or data, or to defeat the security or access controls of the Services.
  • Probe, scan, reverse-engineer (except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law), interfere with, or place an unreasonable load on the Services or the infrastructure behind them.
  • Use the Services to build a competing product, to resell access, or to scrape or harvest data at scale.
  • Introduce malware, or use the Services to distribute spam or carry out fraud or abuse.

We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating access, if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

7. Your content

Your habits, completions, notes, journal entries, photos, and videos are yours. We do not claim ownership of the content you create in Seeded.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, back up, process, and display your content solely so that we can operate and provide the Services to you (for example, to sync your data, store your media, and show it back to you when you sign in). This licence exists only for as long as we hold your content and ends when your content is deleted in the normal course described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not sell it.

You are responsible for the content you create and for keeping your own copies of anything important to you. You can export a machine-readable copy of your data at any time from within the App.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including the Seeded name, logo, app design, text, graphics, and software, are owned by Seeded LTD or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services, and you may not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent that these restrictions are prohibited by applicable law. The educational articles in the Learning section are provided for your personal use within the App and remain the property of Seeded or its content licensors.

9. Educational content is not advice

Seeded is a habit-tracking tool. Any habit suggestions, prompts, or articles (including the Learning section) are provided for general information and motivation only. They are not medical, psychological, health, financial, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. You should not rely on the Services to diagnose, treat, or manage any health condition. If you have concerns about your health or wellbeing, please consult an appropriate professional.

Seeded is not an emergency, crisis-support, medical, mental-health, or clinical service. If you think you may need urgent help, or if you are at risk of harm, please contact emergency services or an appropriate health professional immediately.

10. Third-party services

The Services rely on, and interoperate with, third parties that operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their terms, not ours. These include:

ProviderRole
AppleApp distribution via the App Store, Sign in with Apple, and processing of subscription payments.
GoogleSign-in and store services for any future Android availability.
RevenueCatSubscription management and entitlement checking.
SupabaseAuthentication, database, and file storage for your account and content.
SanityDelivery of the “Learning” articles shown in the App.
SentryError and crash reporting that helps us find and fix problems in the App.

To the extent the App is obtained through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Seeded, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

When using the App, you must also comply with any applicable third-party terms, including the terms of your device manufacturer, operating system provider, mobile network provider, Apple, Google, and any app store through which you obtained the App.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to make Seeded reliable and calm, but the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Services will meet your particular requirements.

Seeded is a personal habit and journaling tool and is not a medical or health service. See Section 9. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including your non-waivable consumer rights).

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms is limited to the total amount you paid for Seeded Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time, and you can delete your account from within the App (see Section 4). Deleting your account does not, by itself, cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription (see Section 5.2).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the Services to you would create a legal or security risk. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; the sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 11, 12, and 14) continue to apply.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute. If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in, and to rely on the mandatory consumer-protection laws of, the country where you live; nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, you should stop using the Services and may delete your account.
